VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR TAX SEASON 2014
Are you interested in helping your community? Are you looking for a very satisfying volunteer opportunity? Every year, the family and individual self-sufficiency program recruits and trains volunteers who provide free tax help to thousands of Hawaii’s workers during the tax season. Since it began in 2006, this program has helped close to twenty-two thousand workers claim over thirty-one million dollars in tax refunds and saved those workers nearly four million dollars in tax preparation fees. We are once again recruiting volunteers to prepare tax returns for low to moderate income workers across the state and we invite you to join our program. You’ll find that you really can make a difference in your community. No experience is necessary. Training and materials are free. Go to www.hawaiitaxhelp.org to learn more and sign up now. That’s www.hawaiitaxhelp.org. Do good. Feel good. Be a volunteer. A message from the Hawaii Alliance for Community-Based Economic Development.
