For our returning volunteers, we introduce the Bring A Friend Campaign. Persuade a friend to train and get certified as a volunteer tax return preparer and the both of you will receive a $10 gift card from WalMart or Foodland! Returning volunteers can receive up to 3 gift cards for referrals. In order to qualify for the gift card, your friend must obtain certification at the Basic level and must volunteer at least 2 times at a site. Note: Certification and volunteer attendance must be verified by a site coordinator.

The FISSP also sponsors free classes and workshops on a variety of topics such as understanding taxes and tax credits, starting a small business and tax responsibilities. The FISSP's partners also offer programs relating to job training, financial literacy, education, and resolution of tax-related problems.
The FISSP is continually recruiting new partners to host free tax sites and volunteers to work as tax return preparers, intake specialists, translators, and appointment schedulers.
