Aloha and Welcome to Hawai'i Tax Help
The Family Self-Sufficiency Program (FSSP) at Aloha United Way is Hawaii's new coordinated effort to help qualified working families and individuals keep more of their hard-earned income by filing the Earned Income Tax Credit or Child Tax Credit. The FSSP at AUW, with a grant-in-aid from the State of Hawaii provides Free Tax Assistance through-out sites across Hawaii. These sites are run and staffed by gifted volunteers who care about Hawaii's working families.
For the upcoming 2007 Tax Season, this Program will be increasing its volunteer recruitment efforts, expanding free tax assistance operations, particularly on the neighbor islands, and focusing on creating a stronger network between the free tax assistance initiatives and financial literacy and asset building programs. Help us and get involved today! Call the FSSP Coordinator at 543.2201 or to receive the Hawaii Tax Help Newsletter email info@hawaiitaxhelp.org.
